Hughenden

The trip to Hughenden was only about an hour and half - but not long after we left Richmond I looked into my mirror and cried out "oh my god - Chris" - "it looks like water coming out of the van" - he asked if I was sure - I said "yes, something is definitely wrong". Chris pulled the van over - pretty much stopped in the middle of our lane, lucky nothing was coming - and we hopped out to have a look. We found that the dump release valve handle had been broken off and the water from the shower holding tank was flowing out.

Lucky for us it wasn't the black water tank, which was right beside it - that would have been messy! We think that a piece of tyre rubber on the road must have flicked up and broken it off. Not too bad - it just means that when we use the vanity or the shower the water will flow straight out onto the ground.

In the end we arrived at Hughenden safe and sound.
