Spent our week here relaxing and playing poker. The kids made friends with an elderly couple in the park and spent a fair bit of time talking to them.
After dinner one night we grabbed our torches and headed to the beach to check out the crabs in the sand - the boys loved it - but Lexie was a bit unsure and didn't like walking through the bushes in the dunes.
Coming to the end of our stay at Elliott Heads, I tried to plan the next stop - which is not easy when there is so much too see. We contacted Chris aunty and uncle - Susie and Phil - and Nathan and Deb Carr to tee up a visit. Prior to going to both of their places, I really wanted to see 1770 and Chris wanted to go to Lake Awoonga and try his luck at barra fishing.
Before heading off we decided we had better stock up on some groceries - so of to Woolies we all trecked. The kids thought it was really funny that we ended up with 2 full trolleys of food. We stacked alot of it in the shelves in the box on the truck - so we had our own little grocery shop.
